Uploading Policies

With MikuColle being a very graphic heavy game, certain guidelines must be stated in order to help keep the wiki running smooth.

• Please only upload images relevant to MikuColle that'll be used on the wiki! If you need to upload screenshots or other images, pelase use a site like Imgur or Google Drive. If you are constantly uploaded irrelevant images, you may be banned.
• You have the ability to upload multiple images at once using the editor. However, be wary that multiple uploads can cause strain on the servers. Please do uploads in batches such as card batches, costume batches, etc. to ease the load on the server. If you are found purposely abusing the upload system, you will be banned.
• We have limited disk space! A file size limit of 1MB is imposed because of this. Most costumes and cards should not exceed 300KBs when uploaded.
• ALL card, costume, and banner images should be in jpg format. png format is okay if transparency is needed or if the filesize is relatively small.
  • You can use a program such as PNG Gauntlet to further compress png images.
• For convenience, cards and costumes should be named by their index number. However, if the index is not known, simply use the original filename.
  • Card : caid_###
  • Costume : coid_###
  • In the very rare cases that cards and costumes share the same ID, please simply add "_b" to the file name without quotation marks.
• When uploading, please try to be as close as possible to the following dimensions noted below. This is for resizing purposes when used on other pages.
  • Cards: 384 × 512
  • Costumes: 276 × 368
• When resizing an image, please only use the file dimensions as noted below. Banner images will automatically be resized when used with templates. For help on images, please see this page
  • Cards and costumes on respective index pages: 96px
  • Cards, costumes, and materials: 54px
• Only re-upload card or costumes images if they're a better quality/ripped directly from the game.
  • This only applies to cards and costumes that are not directly ripped from the game.
